πŸ€£πŸ‘ My kind of humor! It was funny, dude, had to check, cause you don't really write this kind of thing.

Yeah, when I write to a prompt I tend to go comic, not sure why. Glad you’re comfortably coming with me into slightly unfamiliar (for me) territory. Cheers!

I absolutely love it!!! πŸ˜πŸ˜… It's hilarious; with the phrases "competitive radiography" and "one heck of a thorax” coming at me, how could I not laugh?! And Betty's war cry? "I can feel it in my bones!" Laugh out loud moment! And the fact that Joan died of lung cancer; duh, she's been missing half of it since the last pageant. 🀭

But also, there's a macabre element; "mailed body parts", is an image that made me shudder, and just as I'm about to go get the mail!!! The way you wrote it like a journalistic piece is also worth mentioning. It's like I was actually reading a piece on historical crime with a humorous twist! It's freaking awesome, man! 10/10 for sure (like I'm a judge in a beauty pageant, ahem, radiator girls beauty pageant)!!! πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ‘ Thank you, John!

P.S. I'll make sure to never be a "saw loser"!πŸ˜‚βœŒ

You did write it as sort of a comedic piece, right?

Absolutely! Bone-dry humor, you might say…
